Friday Evening Weddings and Receptions in 2008 and 2009

Dear Bride and Groom,

As we enter our 17th year of business, we can see that the availability of Saturday evenings is limited in 2008 and expect the same in 2009.

In celebration of the success of The Great Hall and to more reasonably accommodate those planning an evening wedding reception, we are offering special savings for Friday evenings in 2008 and 2009.

Friday evening receptions, which are common in cities such as New York, are becoming more populate in Pittsburgh.  The Great Hall is especially unique since it provides an elegant setting for the wedding ceremony prior to the banquet.  We have asked many couples who have had Friday receptions of their experiences.  The comments we hear include:

• Many guests find a Friday evening more convenient.
• Friday evening is always a "party" night, "TGIF."
• Gatherings, such as a picnic and a house party, etc. can be planned over the long weekend allowing out of town guests to spend Saturday with family and friends.
